WHAT IS PUEBLO ALIVE?

PUEBLO ALIVE is not a denomination, affiliation, nor is it another organization, but rather a covenant fellowship of Spirit-filled pastors and churches in Pueblo, Colorado for the ultimate purpose of advancing the Gospel of the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

PUEBLO ALIVE is based on relationships (working and ministry relationships), like desires and priorities (e.g. evangelism, revival, healing, and restoration, etc.).

PUEBLO ALIVE is also based on a unique trust one for another, as we recognize the need for integrity, ministry ethics, and accountability, which leads to credibility. We all feel safe working with one another as we have sought to establish accountable relationships that are strong enough to provide protection, but open enough to allow expression of individual gifts and callings.

PUEBLO ALIVE provides unique opportunities for pastors and their spouses to get to know and enjoy one another on a personal level by planning informal times of fellowship. We want to ensure that busy schedules don't crowd out opportunities for meaningful relationships.

MUTUAL ENCOURAGEMENT:

Those who wage daily battles on the front lines of ministry are fully aware of the importance of encouragement. A certain amount of this encouragement needs to come from our peers. Therefore, we seek to build bridges of relationship among our various ministries. There is a strong emphasis on praying for each other,
discussing our mutual concerns, and building one another up in love. The result is a renewed enthusiasm and strength gained from joining our hearts together in the presence of the Lord. The vision of PUEBLO ALIVE is simply to provide a network of accountability, fellowship, and mutual encouragement among ministries that desire such relationships. It is our desire to recognize and adhere to divine order and divine authority in the Body of Christ.

We also acknowledge that each local church may be different in style or methods, yet each with its own giftings.

We recognize that PUEBLO ALIVE is certainly not the only company of pastors and churches in our city, nor do we claim to be the best of such gatherings,
but that there are other good, God-ordained ministerial associations in our city, each with its special purpose and cause. With the pastors and churches of PUEBLO ALIVE, there are no contracts nor membership forms, just a mutual covenant pledge to fulfill God's plan with the means stated here for our city.

OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE IS SEVEN-FOLD:

1. EVANGELISM WITHIN OUR CITY AND COUNTY
(Soul-winning ... the expansion of the Kingdom of God)

2. REVIVAL FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST WITHIN OUR CITY AND COUNTY

3. MIRACLE CRUSADES / THROUGH FASTING, PRAYER AND INTERCESSION, WE SHALL BELIEVE GOD FOR HEALING AND RESTORATION FOR PEOPLE AND FOR OUR CITY IN GENERAL

4. PROCLAIMING HOPE AND SPEAKING LIFE TO OUR CITY AND COUNTY

As pastors, we're determined to send a strong message to the community, that the Body of Christ is united, and the Body of Christ genuinely cares for the eternal souls of people.

5. FELLOWSHIP WITH CONTINUAL ENCOURAGEMENT FOR ONE ANOTHER

6. PRAISE & WORSHIP UNTO GOD ALMIGHTY

7. OBEDIENCE TO THE ENTIRE WORD OF GOD

In other words, we are proclaiming and demonstrating the miraculous power of God for the pulling down of strongholds in our city - by means of:

Fasting, prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare.

The preaching of the gospel.

The testimonies of victory.

Worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth through music ministry, exaltation and adoration unto the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Single's Ministry, Men's and Women's Ministry, etc.
